Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reserve a tee time?

In season, Golf Village members can request tee times between 5 to 7 days in advance through the EZ Links Lottery System. To make a request you must first login to the Colonial Golf Club website. You can also contact EZ Links at (800) 494-3026 to submit a lottery request with your membership number. Golf Village members looking to book tee times within 1 to 4 days in advance can do so by contacting the Golf Shop.

In off-season, Golf Village members can book tee times up to 7 days in advance through the Golf Shop. Lakes Village members can book tee times up to 3 days in advance through the Golf Shop year round.

Please feel free to contact the Golf Shop if you have any questions regarding how to use the lottery system or how to book a tee time.

Do you allow non-members to play at Colonial?

For 2017 the course will be strictly available for members and their guests from January through April. Public play will be allowed on the course May through December. Non-members can contact the Golf Shop to reserve a tee time up to 2 days in advance. If you have booked a tee time, the use of the practice facilities is included in your playing fee.

How do I become a member at Colonial?

Colonial Country Club is a common interest realty association. Our memberships are solely available to home owners and renters in our community. Please see our Communities section for a listing of available properties to own or lease.

How long is an average round of golf at Colonial?

We strive for a 4 hour pace. In order to keep tee times running accordingly, we ask golfers to play ready golf. To learn more about our new Pace of Play Flag System, please click here.

Are clubs available to rent?

Yes, rental clubs are available on a first come first served basis. We have both right and left handed sets available for men, and right handed sets available for ladies. The cost to use a rental set is $35.00 for a full round of golf, and includes a pack of 6 golf balls.

Do we have the option to store our golf bags at Colonial?

Yes, bag storage is offered to Golf Village members of Colonial Country Club, however there are a limited number of storage spots available. While storage is currently at capacity, we would be happy to add you to the waitlist for future storage as it becomes available. Please contact the Golf Shop for more details.

Do you allow non-golfers to ride along on the course?

Yes, riders are welcome to join a group of golfers on the course at the cost of a cart fee. When booking a tee time please make sure to book your rider as a part of the group that is playing. We only allow four players and/or riders per tee time, no exceptions.

Are the practice facilities available to non-members?

Our practice facilities are currently available to members, guests with a tee time, and registered house guests. All golfers must check in to the Golf Shop before using the driving range.

What privileges do guests of members have?

Guests who have submitted the Houseguest Application, and have been approved, are entitled to all of the privileges a guest would have when playing with a member without the member needing to be present. Registered houseguests can book tee times up to three days in advance through the Golf Shop and will pay the guest fee. Registered houseguests may also use the practice facilities after checking into the Golf Shop. Houseguest applications can be found in the Communities section of the website.

Do you allow players to walk the golf course?

No, players must use a Colonial Country Club golf cart when playing the course. We do not allow personal golf carts to be used on the course.

What is the proper attire for the golf course?

Please see the Dress Code section under the General Golf Info tab to view our strictly enforced Dress Code Policy. Should you have any further questions about proper golf attire, please contact the Golf Shop.

Do you have a scorecard?

Yes, you can download our scorecard by clicking here.

What is the difference between the Hole in One Club and the Hole in One Insurance?

Members who get a hole in one while playing at Colonial can have their name posted on the website. Those looking to enroll in Hole in One Insurance need to contact the Golf Shop to be enrolled. Once enrolled, the member will be charged $3.00 every time another member with the insurance gets a hole in one. Should the member who has insurance get a hole in one at Colonial Country Club themselves, they will receive a $750.00 Colonial Country Club gift card that can be used throughout the community! Members can remove themselves from the insurance at any time in the Golf Shop. Good luck!
