September/October 2008 Fitness Classes

Mat Pilates:
Enjoy this core strengthening & stretching exercise method that offers a result of better posture &
stress relief. Balls, Pilates rings & bands may be used in this class. All levels welcome.
Mon/Wed/Fri @ 8:00am
Lite & Low:
An energizing low impact, moderate intensity cardio workout.
Hand weights may be used in this class. All levels welcome.
Mon/Wed/Fri @ 9:00am
Deep Water Aerobics:
An enjoyable non-impact class in our body soothing 84-degree pool!
This is a great class for all fitness levels and those recovering from injuries. Aqua noodles will be provided.

Gym Curves Circuit Training:
An introductory weight training class emphasizing the basic
principles of circuit training using Nitro Nautilus machines to utilize different muscle
groups for upper body & lower body.
Mon/Wed/Fri @ 11:00am
Spin & Ball Blast:
An indoor fitness journey for all levels that takes the training principles of bicycle racing to
challenge your aerobic needs, followed by a highly effective form of Pilates core-strengthening with the use of a
resist a ball & small weighted balls to increase intensity and balance.
Mon/Wed @ 6:15pm
Spin & Rip:
This indoor cycling class will be an intense training experience for all fitness levels.
Spin bikes will be used for a cardiovascular training & weights for a muscle sculpting challenge.
Tue/Thu @ 8:00am
Hatha Yoga:
Combines flowing movements & sustained postures designed to improve strength and flexibility,
as well as controlled breathing and relaxation.
Tue/Thu @ 9:30am
Trekking:
This comprehensive cardiovascular workout will take you on a trek using the treadmill and other
forms of cardio machine choices. Try this new innovative workout that will unleash the principles of interval
training methods while increasing health benefits.

Require a minimum of 8 students pre-registered for each class to be offered. CXL - cancelled due to low preregistration.
All group classes are designed to offer cardiovascular training, fitness conditioning and mind/body instruction
for all ages and fitness levels. You are required to have proper foot ware for fitness classes.
Please remember to bring a towel and bottle of water.
