Gym Rules & Etiquette Reminders 

 

Members & guests must be registered prior to gym use. Upon entry into the community center, please present and show your membership card to the fitness front desk staff to check-in and/or receive a locker key, towel or razor.  

Lockers are for day use only. Towels and locker keys should be returned to front desk before leaving facility. Any personal items left unattended are at your own risk. 

It is mandatory that members & guests wipe down equipment with supplied antibacterial towelettes or spray bottle with dry towels after each use. 

Members & guests are responsible for returning free weights and gym equipment to their proper position after completion of workout. 

There is a 20 minute usage limit per guest when other members/guest are waiting. Dry erase board is available when waiting for any cardio equipment. 

Food and drinks are not allowed in the gym or aerobic room. The only exception is water. 

Facility staff may only conduct movement of any stationary equipment. This includes circulation fans. 

The use of equipment beyond its designed purpose is prohibited. 

Proper non-marking athletic shoes and athletic clothing are required in the gym and all activity areas (NO JEANS). 

No children under the age of 12 are permitted to use the gym. Children between the ages of 12 to 16 must be supervised by an adult when using the gym facilities. 

Misconduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. 

No cell phones are to be used in the gym or aerobic room. No exceptions.  

Repeated grunting that is bothersome to other members and guests is prohibited.

Fitness Class Registration Procedures:

·        Fitness Classes advance "open enrollment" registration period begins on the 15th of each month.

·        We need minimum of 8 participants pre-registered (for each fitness class) by the 25th in order to offer a class the following month. 

·        Please be sure to bring your registration form and cash/check payment with you to confirm your class request.  Although we cannot accept charge card payments until the 1st of each month - we suggest for you to turn in your completed form to us with payment method noting credit card information prior to the 25th if possible. 

·        Due to limited spots being available for some of our most popular classes - a fitness lottery would be implemented

if needed and we would contact you to notify you of any changes to your registration status. 

·        ½ Month Class Packages are available (from 15th of month).

·        As available, we will continue to accept daily class registrations following this "open enrollment" period at the Fitness Center Reception Desk.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Beginning in October, a club wide Member Charge System will be implemented (no more cash payments will be accepted).
